Die Mitglieder von Mercyful Fate führen diesen Vorfall auf die Schwarze Messe zurück, die ihrer Meinung nach etwas angelockt haben soll.[1] Ein von der Polizei gerufener Elektriker konnte keine Störungen feststellen.[4]"

Leider habe ich fogende etwas ausführlichere Beschreibung dieses merkwürdigen Stromunfalls nur auf Englisch gefunden.

"The next day, the band returned to Copenhagen, where they were booked to support the English all-female band Girlschool. While Mercyful Fate was on stage, at one point, King said something like "We're gonna bring Satan into this house tonight". Then, when Mercyful Fate did ended its set, the guys went back into the dressing room. Some mimutes after that, King distinctly heard some strange noises coming from the PA; he still got a tape of it at his home, it was very strange. Then, one of the Mercyful Fate roadies came to tell them about the noises, and for some reason that King still doesn't understand, he turned to him and said "I know, and the band will have to stop playing in a few minutes and they won't play another note tonight!". Why that came out of his head, he can't explain. A few minutes later, while Girlschool was performing, their singer, Kim McAuliffe, who was using the same microphone as King used earlier that night, was electrified on stage and had to be taken to the hospital toward the middle of the set. What was even stranger was that the police called in some expert electricians to go over all the gear, and they could not find absolutely nothing wrong. The promoter of the gig went to the radio and said that he'd felt a very strange atmosphere surrounding the hall on that night, the like of which he'd never before come across. He told the DJ it was almost like something had to happen, it had been decreed by forces beyond human comprehension."

Da sowohl die Tonabnehmer der Gitarren als auch die Mikrophon-Spulen hochohmig sind, fließen hier nur sehr geringe Ströme. Also käme nur noch die Schirmung in Betracht. Meines Wissens sind aber alle PA-Verstärker geerdet. Dadurch wird verhindert, dass sich durch ein loses Netzstromkabel (Phase) u. dergl. im Gehäuse ein lebensgefährliches Potential an der Gehäuseoberfläche aufbauen und sich dann weiter über die Schirmung bzw. dem Kaltleiter in den NF-Kabeln auf die Instrumente bzw. Mikrophone "ausdehnen" kann... Da müsste aber schon längst der FI angesprochen haben. Also im Prinzip so gut wie unmöglich.
Am ehesten dürfte ein Masseschluss des Hochspannungsbereichs eines Röhrenverstärkers in Frage kommen, da dieser mit dem Netzstrom lediglich induktiv in Verbindung steht. In diesen Fällen aber sollten die internen Schutzschaltungen ansprechen. Irgendeinen billigen Chinamüll gab es damals ja noch nicht, abgesehen davon, dass ein Profi ohnehin niemals damit gespielt hätte. Dass die Saiten einer (Bass)Gitarre ebenfalls nur induktiv mit dem Tonabnehmer bzw. der Schirmung in Verbindung stehen, muss bei Hochspannungen nichts heißen, aber wieso dann der Strom über das Mikrophon in die Erde abfließt, und nicht schon vorher im geerdeten Gehäuse...
Es wundert mich also nicht, dass die Elektriker nichts gefunden haben.
Weiß hier jemand evt. mehr über diesen "teuflischen" Fall?

Naja, irgendeinen Grund wird es schon gehabt haben. Aber was hat das im Hauptforum verloren?

Ich vermute mal, du witterst hier ein Wunder. Drum schieb ich es ins Wunder-Forum.

Zum Thema: Was mir bei diesen Zauber- und Wundergeschichten immer auffällt, ist, dass sie sich noch halbwegs im Rahmen des Möglichen / Erklärbaren befinden und meist im Kontext ihrer Umgebung stehen. Dass aber Amputierte geheilt werden, oder irgendwelche effektreichen, bunten Energiestrahlen, die man nie zuvor gesehen hat, jemanden umnieten - sowas passiert nie.
Wieso gibt es hier einen Schlag über die vorhandene Elektrik? Wenn da Zauberei dahinter steckt, kann so ein Schlag doch ÜBERALL passieren.

Ich habe auch schon überlegt, wohin damit. "Wunder" passt nicht, da ein Wunder niemals negativ behaftet ist. "Esoterik" passt auch nicht, weil hier lt. Titel "Weißmagisches" behandelt wird. Aber von mir aus kannst Du es in die Brabbelecke stellen.

Unter einem Wunder verstehe ich eine Begebenheit, die man sich nicht erklären kann; über die man sich also wundert. Von daher passt es hier schon ganz gut.

Und jetzt wird's erst richtig wunderlich. Ob etwas dran ist oder ob der Typ in einer Traumwelt lebt - who knows?

"This weekend I was at a bookstore reading all of these new interviews that were done with King Diamond and they were very interesting as usual. He talked a lot about the various supernatural events that have surrounded him over the years. Of course he has always included some of the real life events on his Cd's with both Mercyful Fate and King Diamond mixed in with the stuff that he makes up. King said that his home in Frisco Texas in not as haunted as his place in Denmark, but that there have been some things going on. Even band members have been hit in the head and back by unseen things. And his black cat magic has been known to watch things in the night that no one else can sense, which was mentioned on the new CD. King doesn't think that anything followed him there from Denmark but that something might be attached to some artifacts that he has and he thinks he knows what or whom it is.

But he talked a lot about his place in Denmark where he lived for years and how he and other people would be grabbed by the hair by unseen hands and have their faces caressed and get touched in other ways. He said that things would be moved around or rise in the air by themselves including a blanket that floated in the air for no reason. Seeing fingerprints of children on a mirror even though no kids were ever in there, as well as hearing voices in the room when no one was around. A reporter who once spent the night in King's home said he heard children laughing in the room even though he was alone. Of course the thing King remembered the most was the night that James and Lars of Metallica were over and Timi Hanson the bassist of MF with a girl Anita that he liked. King was in the bedroom with James and Lars playing Foosball and Timi and Anita were in the Living Room when they heard a loud crashing sound. So King and them ran in seeing Timi and Anita all freaked out because everything on King's Satanic Altar in the corner of his living room including the altar cloth rose up and threw itself all over the room. And later that night Anita was stuck in King's bathroom and when King went to see if she was all right he found her screaming and crying because she couldn't get out and "something" in there growled at her.

King said that things would also happen on the road and at the studio a lot as well. He found out that even his parents had some experiences like this also. King also talked about a dream he had of a black book with a lady and being surrounded by a Satanic Coven of blackhooded shadows and that he couldn't wake up or talk. Of course this was included in his song "Nightmare". Just like the song "Welcome Princess of Hell" was about the famous incident with the glass rising in the air which was also on the album "Them"."
